Packed event looking at Enterprise with a Social Conscience

Social Enterprise is clearly going to be the hot topic of 2010. A packed theatre heard two very different and thought provoking presentations from inspirational speaker, entrepreneur and writer, Robert Ashton and Professor Jay Mitra, founding professor of business and enterprise at Essex Universities Business School.

The audience included a mix of SME's, delegates from Suffolk County Council, Suffolk Coastal District Council, SEEE, Choose Suffolk, New Venture Partners and Business Link. Enterprise UK were also very enthusiastic participants - see their blog on the link below.

FTC Business Club are very grateful to HSBC for their sponsorship and enthusiastic support  of this event and see this as a good foundation on which to develop thinking and action to do with Social Enterprise in the county.
